This website reflects both my personal and academic interests.  I follow topics such as human and animal rights, social responsibility, movements against discrimination and intolerance, digital privacy, free software, tech news, cycling, urban mobility, climate change, biodiversity, sustainability, among many others. I am a keen off-road cyclist and prefer to cycle to work. I teach at the Bragança Campus of the Federal University of Pará (UFPA). Keep track of ever increasing carbon dioxide emissions at the National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration’s (NOAA) Earth System Research Laboratory Global Monitoring Division. We should be concerned about methane and nitrous oxide emissions too.
